When did it become so hard for kids to make friends? Are they getting this idea from the adults in their lives who are always on their mobile devices? Why is it more important to only to interact with someone if they can do something for them? Or only to play with their family? #whatintheworld #motivatedmom #parisbypaige ~ I took my little guy to our neighborhood park immediately after school today because the weather was glorious & the atmosphere was static & stale. There were a few kids there and they only played with their family. 😢 My heart was breaking as my son said ‘Hi’ to the other kids, only to be either ignored or told that they only play with their cousins. And the adults with them? You guessed it, never encouraged engagement. This is total BS! Now I am determined to create an inclusive community for my kid! Be on the lookout! You heard it hear first!
