Can I tell you how excited I get each time I board a flight to Paris? The way the hair stands up on the back of my neck when I hear the flight crew make announcements in both French and English. And how I always look out the windows on the left side of the airplane as we land at Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport just so I can get my quick glimpse of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. I personally do not think that there is ever a bad time to travel to France however some are easier than others. Paris is one of the top tourist destinations in the world with more than 70 million visitors each year. If you want to avoid the crowds, plan your trip after June, as this is a peak summer month for travel. The slower times include January, February and August as domestic tourism usually tapers off. I would advise to always have a plan for your visit and seek out advice from insider’s and tour guides, like me of course!. Traveling to Paris and France is on the world’s bucket list and is definitely a city that you must experience firsthand!
