They can be sweet or savory. Nutella and banana from a street vendor is my absolute favorite. I usually try to catch one as I am walking to the Eiffel Tower or along the Champs Elysées. I also usually order the traditional French breakfast at a café so that I can have an authentic crepe Breton simply with butter and sugar. So tasty! Here are two of my picks!
Breizh Café-3éme Terrific crêpes and buckwheat galettes, right in the middle of the bustling Marais. Using organic buckwheat and Bordier butter. Be sure to complete your meal with sparkling apple cider or lait ribot (Breton buttermilk). I just love this place.
Tip: Breizh Café is open on Sundays and make a reservation

Major Tip: Always get the street vendor to make a fresh one for you. Don’t let them try to sell you one that is pre-made, who knows how long they have been sitting there. And have the guts to walk away if you can’t argue with them in French like me.
